My mind map is made to decide what my final major project will be based on, the topic is legend and the task is to produce a creative media product which demonstrates the skills I have learnt throughout the year. I must conduct this project as if I am a part of an interactive media or video games company, completing your planning, research, production and evaluations in a professional manner. In my lessons I will still be supported by staff, and must plan my project.
What are legends?
A legend is a semi-true story, which has been passed on from person-to-person and has important meaning or symbolism for the culture in which it originates. A legend usually includes an element of truth, or is based on historic facts, but with ‘mythical qualities’. Legends usually involve heroic characters or fantastic places and often encompass the spiritual beliefs of the culture in which they originate.
I have mind mapped many ideas I have and have thought deeply with what I can do with which one.
I can choose from a range of software to create my idea including: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Piskel, Game Maker Studio, Construct 2, Audition, etc. I will need to plan how I will use these considering timetable and room constraints.
